lol what a joke
In a news post in Battlelog, Dice has announced the following: "In our largest crackdown yet, this week sees us banning a significant number of cheaters. Because you deserve a fair game." While this is slightly unclear as to whether they have done it yet it is an encouraging sign for those being driven away from the game by the volume of hackers BF3 is experiencing.
This comes on the heels of a big hacking scandal where one of the Battlelog moderators was caught cheating. MrPropper777 has been stripped of his moderator role and his stats were wiped. It is unclear whether or not he has been banned but the account shows no activity. It is important to remember that he was a user asked by Dice/EA to moderate Battlelog forums not a Dice employee, however when the scandal came to light it served as an ultimate example for those claiming hacking was out of control and that Dice/EA did not care.
While this latest move to ban a "significant" amount of cheaters is either a PR move to save some face or an act of good faith, it is welcomed by gamers looking for a level playing field and an opportunity to have fun.
