Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 co-developer Sledgehammer Games, an Activision subsidiary, is looking to double the size of its studio – both physically and in terms of man power – in preparation for work on its next title, the company announced on its blog today.

"Our next project is going to be bigger and more ambitious than ever," the post reads. "We're extremely happy to announce that the expansion doubles the size of our studio, and we’re ramping up the effort to fill all the new desks with brand new Hammers," the company added.

A list of open positions for the San Francisco-based developer can be found on the company's LinkedIn Careers page. The listing calls for online and multiplayer engineers, a level designer lead, and a character artist.

Sledgehammer Games was founded in 2009 by the former developers of Dead Space to work on a game for the Call of Duty franchise set in the action-adventure genre. The company took up co-development on Modern Warfare 3 after the collapse of Infinity Ward.
