BF3 not abandoned

DICE recently gave us some details about the Battlefield 4 beta (http://blogs.battlefield.com/2012/07/battlefield-update-the-battlefield-4-beta-and-armored-kill/) on the developer blog, and some reassuring news about Battlefield 3.
It’s a busy week for DICE. The post talks about both the upcoming Armored Kill expansion for Battlefield 3 (and we get to see the first trailer from its larger-than-life battlefields and armored gameplay). It also talks about the beta testing for the recently announced Battlefield 4, which will take place in the fall of 2013 – no need to hold your breath just yet – and can be accessed by preordering the limited edition of Medal of Honor Warfighter, another EA game using the DICE-developed Frostbite engine.
The post also says that DICE is ‘committed to providing an excellent Battlefield 3 experience well into the future, past the release of Aftermath, End Game and Battlefield 4. DICE is continuing its work on Battlefield 3 alongside Battlefield 4.’
So there you have it, some awesome news and some reassuring… um, reassurances, all in one short blog post.
