EA has announced (via Twitter (https://twitter.com/#%21/Battlefield/status/135079725499559938)) that over the past week, they’ve banned “hundreds of offending accounts” in regards to Battlefield 3, and added that they’ve also stats wiped the accounts of those who were “boosting”, e.g. using in-game glitches to boost their score. EA will continue to monitor players and “take action” against players who don’t respect the game. The bans happened across all platforms. Over the past week, there have been revelations of a new boosting technique where players could rake in tens of thousands of points during a match by misusing the repair tool. We won’t go into details of the technique for obvious reasons, but it’s good to see EA and DICE taking quick and decisive action against cheaters and boosters.

I've read on numerous hack sites that after 10 reports, your account will be banned. I can't confirm this 100% but 10 seems to be the number thats thrown around the most.

I believe this to be true as I have been banned by EA anti-cheat team and so have others, was told that on EA live chat support.

TBH for me there's so many good cheats out now that it in some ways have made the game no fun. Im actually hoping the super knife and the one shot kill are patched soon so it is a bit more challenging.

I have been a cheat user for many years but this series of cheats is in some ways is over the top. I miss the days of spamming vehicle drops was the schiznit.
