In addition to tanks, APCs, jets and helicopters, Battlefield 3 will feature a wide selection of transport vehicles. Here is the list of confirmed transport vehicles in Battlefield 3:
Humvee
Battlefield 3 humvee
The Humvee is the iconic US military transport vehicle. Called the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), it’s got 4 wheel drive, and is powered by 6.5 liter V8 diesel engine. The Humvee was introduced in 1984, and is still in use today all over the world. Over 100,000 Humvees have been built to date. The Humvee was featured in Battlefield 2, Bad Company 1 and 2, and will return in Battlefield 3.
Vodnik
Battlefield 3 vodnik
The Vodnik is the Russian answer to the Humvee, and is a multipurpose transport vehicle. Unlike the Humvee, the Vodnik is much larger larger and can seat up to 9 passengers, in addition to the driver. The Vodnik was featured in both Battlefield 2, Bad Company 1 and 2, and will return in Battlefield 3 as the main transport vehicle for the Russian side.
Growler ITV
Battlefield 3 Growler
The Growler is based on the Jeep and was introduced in 1999 as a USMC Internal Transport Vehicle, and is mainly used as a vehicle for transport of troops, reconnaissance and towing of mortars and artillery weapons.
VDV Buggy

The Russian-made VDV buggy was introduced mainly as a light transport vehicle for the Russian paratroopers units. It was developed in the early 2000s and has since been in service across several Russian forces. The VDV buggy will be featured in Battlefield 3 for the first time.
RHIB

The RHIB — Rigid-hulled inflatable boat — is a fast, lightweight boat that’s been featured in many Battlefield games, and will return in Battlefield 3. The RHIB will be usable by both the US and Russian forces.
AAV-7A1 / Amphibious Assault Vehicle
Battlefield 3 AAV 7A1
The AAV-7A1, or Amphibious Assault Vehicle, is a tracked, armored amphibious vehicle capable of crossing both land and water. It was introduced in 1972, and can transport up to 25 crew members. It’s armed with either a 40mm grenade launcher, or a 25 mm chain gun, with a .50 caliber secondary machine gun available as well.
